GT and JD's......

Ok, I've narrowed my fish to either 1 Oscar or a a mix of GT's and JD's. What combination would be good for the GT and JD mix?? Keep in mind that I have a 55 gallon......*twirlysmi

well Gts get to big and so do oscars so get a JD and a Firemouth.

Correct, both Oscars and GT's get too big for a 55 gallon. I would get a JD a Convict and 5 Giant Danios as dither.

Further correction: Oscars, GT's, and JD's all get too big for a 55 gallon. This tank is just not deep enough for these fish. A 75 gallon tank would be much better.

Convicts will work well, along with Jewels and Firemouths. A Firemouth colony would be interesting to keep

What do you mean by a firemouth colony? I have seen brichardi colonies, but never heard of anything similar with firemouths

I've seen a "firemouth colony"......i'm guessing they were rasied from the same brood and the owner didn't move any out. But this was in an aquarium book.
