Guppy compatibility

I have a 29 gallon tank with 5 lyretail guppies and 2 sparkling gouramis and I'd like to add some interest to my tank. One fish I like is the celestial danio. I would also like a larger fish, and I have found that I'm attracted to rainbowfish. Would rainbowfish be compatible with my guppies? With the celestial danios? Does the type of rainbowfish make a difference?

Thank you

I dont see why rainbowfish would be a problem, its just the species, many rainbowfish can grow to be rather large-ish fish and so you will have to be careful about your choice. Corydoras catfish would be a good choice for bottem-dwellers in your tank, and they would go perfect with guppies and add some variety to your aquarium.

I don't see any compatibility issues, although as jamiejay said some can get quite big. I think a good choice for you tank would be dwarf rainbowfish. They're still quite good-sized fish but won't be cramped in your tank, they're one of my personal favourites. Boesemani rainbows are also a good, although bigger, choice.
