I found a taker for some of my platy fry: my niece. Thing is, I want to keep the guppy that's in the tank with them (he's a jerk, so I can't put him with the other guppy). Would he be ok in the gourami tank? I'm giving stacy the tank and all (tho I have to remove about half the platies... Don't want to set her up to fail with an over-stocked tank once they are all grown). I think my lfs would take a few platy kids, but I'm really attached to the guppy. I could leave him in there for stacy and the kids, but he is already beginning to harass the females. I think he is a gourami in a guppy body... He beat up everyone when I briefly had him in the live-bearer tank.
I can't set up my spare tank because I will likely be getting my brothers tank from work (too little time to care for it lately). I'm toying with spreading his fish out into my tanks, but it would end up with over-stocking my live-bearer tank... So I may just keep his as is and put it where my fry tank is now... Either way I'm left with a guppy I'm very attached to, but have no where to put. Any ideas?
