I have a 10 Gal. tank that had a hair algae outbreak. Its empty and clean now, but one of my friends wants it. Can he now take it and not be bothered with the hair algae or is it in the tank and rocks for good? Will it come back? Is there any way to fully get rid of it?
tell him to do regular 25% water changes with clean treated water like he should be doing anyway, and also have him test his water quality, and keep nitrates very low (closest to 0)
am I the only one that would purposely seed my sponge filters with hair algae and seed it on my flowerpots? it always looked so cool and my platies liked nibbling on it
