Sorry admins...posted this in the wrong forum...feel free to delete the other entry :)

On the off chance that there is someone else in the hampton roads (VA Beach - Williamsburg) area that is poking around here, I wanted to let you know that I'm selling my tank

46 gallon bow front (TopFin), Oak finish. Comes w/Bow front stand, glass canopy, light fixture/bulb, Penguin 330 filter, gravel, 2 thermometers, airstones, tubing, some misc stuff....

Asking $175 for it.....sorry guys, can't ship, because the dang thing won't fit in my hoop-tee. You gotta come get it...

The whole setup is about 4' tall, 3' wide, and between a little over 1' and almost 2' deep (bow front).

Email me: newsletter@brownshistory.com if interested...

We've got about 20 chain shops around here, and a handful of "local" ones. Some of the chains actually remind me of local shops, but the difference is that the min. wage guys don't know what the hell they were doing.

I went into one store to buy some balas. I had 2 nice specimens picked out, and had them in the clear bag in my hand while I continued to shop. Well, I turn around and the guy is dumping a WHOLE CAN of tetra flakes into a neon tank (maybe 20 neons). This wasn't a little can, mind you. This was one of those 4 inch high by 2 inch diameter cans. I asked him how often he fed the fishes, and he said "I feed them everyday".

Needless to say, I handed the balas back to the guy, and said that I'd be trying somewhere else first.

You should have SEEN that food in that tank. The top was completely covered, and it looked like it was raining flakes. The fish ate for a while, but stopped soon, and it was STILL raining flakes!!
