ok i went to my lfs(upscale aquatics) and bought and air pump and an 8 foot air tube.they where out of the tube thingies to create that wall of bubbles thing ive been looking for.they said to use like a silicone or a caulk type thing.to cap the end then take a thumb tack or something and puncture holes for the air and burrie it.would this be ok?

Yeah, that should work. Hell, you could have gone somewhere else though and got your wall and saved yourself the pain.

edit.. make sure it is aquarium safe silicone

what do you mean by that shaunna,and i didnt have time to go somewhere else i was on the way home from work and only had a short time to be at home becuase i had to go back out for dinner with my neighbors(chesdans pizzeria couldnt miss it, mainly because i love there pizza but im home now)

GE Silicone I is good, GE Silicone II isn't.

darn my silicone doesnt say any of that.its normal construction silicone or silicone to use around the house.it says nothing.darn

If ever in doubt, don't use it.

I've used GE Silicon I for Doors and Windows on several fish projects and it is safe.

i would just be causous and use the one for tanks. You never know
