I have a pregnant platy, and I moved her from my main tank to a 10 gallon by herself. What I'm wondering is, if she gives birth while I'm not there, like at work or whatever, will she eat them all before I get back? Thanks.

Best thing to do is to put some plants that will provide cover for the fry once they are born. Plastic or real, it doesnt matter, just as long as they will have a place to hide from the parent. Hornwart makes wonderful cover for fry and smaller fish.

I have experience with Sail Fin mollies and understand that Platies are very similar.

The mother is less likely to eat the fry if it has been well fed during the last few days prior to giving birth. In any event, it is important to provide plenty of cover for the fry at all levels of the tank. Some fry head up and others head to the bottom of the tank. If you provide cover, you are likely to find plenty of fry when you get home.
Good luck

another thing I used was Marbles and such on the bottom gives plenty of space for them to hide, or get a hanging Birther, and take the bottom off, the molly will give birth and the will fall through the crack in the center and have the run of the tank without having to worry about their mother eating them
