has anyone used the PLANT GRO CO2 NATURAL SYSTEM by Hagen?

I found it for 21.99 @ Big Al's. That's cheaper than the DIY Model I was thinking about making! The thing is I don't know how much C02 it produces. Would it be enough for my 55 gal tank, especially after I go crazy with the swords this next pay.

anyone have any experience with this model?

the DIY Model I was/am going to build is more expensive because of the forced reactor, VERY, VERY well though out design... here is the website if anyone is interested, I actually found it from a link on this board.

i have 2 in my 72 bowfront and they seem to work nicely but for me i think three would be better.on a 55 i think you would want 2. and a hint to save money is to find a proper mixture and not buy they're "activator/stabilizor" pakages, but mix your own.

I'm running one now on a 20G Long. It works great. I would try 2 to start with and check your KH, Although they recommend 3 for a 55.

For a small tank fine but over the long run you will save with a pressurized system. IMHO
