I am getting ready to put two 250 watt heaters in my 100 gal tank.Do you set both heaters on 79 if thats the temp you want

Yes, set them both at the temperature you want.

You should, however, check the temperature for a few days. Sometimes the thermostat temperature on the heaters isn't accurate. I have some heaters set at 76, but they actually turn off at 78.

What kind of fish will you be keeping?

right now I have a dogface puffer,snowflake eel,yellow tang,a few snails,a few hermit crabs and a few star fish

Yah, do what lotus said...sounds like an awesome saltwater tank! If I were you, I wouldn't go anywhere for the next hour after turning the heaters on... You really want to make sure the right temp. is being produced...
