ive seen many pictures of tanks with the heater at an angle, is there any reason to place it this way ?

no not really i guess it would spread the heat wider but don't think thats why i think its just to hide it better!

my 200 watt ebo is too tall for my 55g so i keep it angled so it dosent touch the substrate.... and yes it does look sloppy
