Heater

What kind/size heater can I get for a 2.5 gal Betta tank? I don't need it yet, but this winter, I'll need it for sure.

hmm. the smallest ive seen is a 5 gallon heater. i think there are microheaters also. i guess if you could adjust them the 5 gal would be okay.

pick one up at walmart, they have heaters two to five gallons in size for about six dollars. Mine works great.

Get a heat pad or tape and put it under the tank. Be sure to get a rheostat, too.

Antwan, please explain. I'm not too sure if I'm visualizing the suggestion correctly.

i'm not sure if this is an option or not but sense we both live in the same area i know how bad our winters are and i have found that i you use an eclipse2 explorer the tank is self regulating.mine never drop below 76f an my house can get pretty cold.if you want to try what antwan said to do go to FISH and they have the heating pads right next to the bettas last time i was there.
