Hi, I'm here to learn about freshwater tanks and to give any advice I can. I remember seeing this site around 2001 while setting up a 5 gallon. I'm currently arranging a 20 gallon, and look to having it finished cycling in a little while. I also currently have a small 1 gallon to hold my female Betta until she grows a little. She'll eventually move into the 20, with her tank mates being some tetras, cories, and a frog. Here she is (bad camera phone, so bad pictures):
