welcome! Be careful bettas are addictive, I started out with one then before I knew it I had 6! Its hard to turn down a betta in distress and by distress I mean having to live in a cup and maybe have a couple of freeze dried bloodworms thrown at ya. Betta's are addictive! And really once you have a couple does one more ever really amount to any more work?

(We called the Betta's the gateway fish in my house cause they're how we all got into fish keeping)
