Hey everybody!! Gee..where to start...I'm fairly new to the aquarium hobby..my husband bought me a 10 gal tank as a birthday present this past november. I have 4 gourami's, a dwarf frog and a pleco and it seems to be just enough for that size tank. No live plants yet as I'm still learning all I can before I get too in depth!
I've had a few tank problems but I will post those somewhere else...everything seems to be ok at the moment though. I'm enjoying the hobby very much and am getting into it slowly since I don't have the money to go out and buy all the things I need at one time. I'd love to have a much larger tank but that will have to wait!
I also have 2 dogs, 2 cats and a snake that I try to tend to, so I think they're jealous of my new found hobby. I have had no problems between the cats and the fish so far.
They both will sit beside me and watch the fish with interest, but that's all. Their only facination seems to be with the water running through the filter..I had to tape it down because they kept trying to catch the water. It's been quite entertaining!
I look forward to being apart of this forum and can't wait for all your tidbits of wisdom for me! I have tons of questions..as I'm sure everybody does!
