Hello, I would like to See opinions on my site

I would like to know which one you like better.

Basically do you like it with or without the background, or should i just use a color. Furthermore i want to make this site a special place on the hobby, and if you have any fish profiles, Your tanks or anything you wnat to send me please do. Of course it has to be related to fish
Furthermore if you send me pictures of your tank please no more than 3, and please write some info on it. Also this site is a demo, and this is just a test to c how im doing so far.

Now a little about myself. I am 18 years old, and i have been in the hobby ever sense i got that fish bowl in the third grade. I have a 20gallong tank right now in my bedroom because thats as big as my parents will let me get. I have black and flame tetras and some catfish. I care a lot about the hobby and my fish. Fish own. By the way i adimire what the web master has done with this web site!*celebrate

I like it without the background myself, but thats just because it's easier to read. Site looks nice, would love to see pics of you tank. Welcome to site, and hope you enjoy your stay. Lot's of great people here, to answer your questions!

i like the second one more, but id make it more pleasing to the eye, should buy a nice domain nice, add more color or darker ones and more pictures to make it appealing, the background draws attention away from the main site

I think there was one thing i forgot to point out on the content areas of each page there would be a white background in the table. In other words the black text will be in front of a white background which is on top of the water bck. This was important, and i forgot to point it out. Furthermore dark colors is a good idea and have thought about switching to darker blues what is your take on this. I want to make this site load fast so i might scrap the background. Tell me if this makes a difference because so far your correct the background makes my eyes wonder

I also want to make a better banner at the top that defines the site to the user quickly. Like a picture of an aquarium scene in the background of the banner with the name over it. I would then change the background color to a dark blue, and add white links over it to make it readable.
