I am sitting here looking at my 95 gal "wave tank" thinking to myself that someone who runs a 35 million gallon a day wastewater treatment plant should be able to do a better job with the aquarium. It is a little over 2 month old and went through the cycle rapidly due to use of water, substrate and filter media from another tank. I have quite a few plants and a good population of fish, but the hair algae is horrific! I bought an "algae squad from AZgardens and the snails are the busiest of everything that came. Unfortunatly I believe my Discus had an appetite for Amano and Cherry Red shrimp as I can only find 3 of them now. The next addition to the tank will be a CO2 system as soon as I can decide which is best for my application. I have 4 CO2 bottles (imagine that an Irishman with beer pouring capabilities beyond what any one person needs or should have) so it will be a pressure system of sorts. That should be about enough rambling for now!
