i need help i have noticed my newly purchased dwarf gouramis has something wrong, his pelvic fins ( the long thread like tentacles), one of the these fins seems to be missing half as if its been betten of or something...he seems to be swimming and eating fine, but will this grow back or will it cause problems ?? his female seems to be fine

25g - 9 sailfin mollies, 1 swordtail female, 1 bristlenose catfish, three black phantom tetras, 2 dwarf gouramis m/f..
10g fry tank - 31 molly fry, 1 small bristlenose catfish.
