Tank size: 55 gallon
Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH readings from your tank: all normal (no ammonia, etc) and on the acidic side (change 1/4 to 1/3 water weekly), use conditioning salts. (sorry I can't give exact numbers... doing this from work)
How long your tank has been running: 1 years + a few months
The other fish in the tank, and numbers of them: one dwarf blue & three flame red gourami's, three cory cats, one beta
A full description of the symptoms: This disease is not responding to antibiotics (tetracycline) nor melafix/pimafix. It started off with just spots that looked off in color and progressed to what I would called ulcers now. They are lumpy, along the lateral line, and growing in numbers. At one point, there were three dwarf blue gourami's and now there is only one left.
This boy is the last of the dwarf blue's and is currently in a sick tank. I've treated him approx. three times with varying products that the local fish store gave me. Nothing is helping. He's a fighter and I don't want to loose him like we lost his mates. They went down fast and this guy is hanging in there.
Take a look at the pictures and let me know what you think???
