HELP my betta is sick

I'm not sure exactly what it is but I was reading on dropsey and it's almost like it...His body is swollen but without protruding scales, but his face is swollen too and makes his one eye look kind of concave, and it seems as though the small scales on his face are sticking out???? what can I do to help him or is it too late????? He has survived for so long and through 2 really big moves, I really want to help him but if it's too lae I want to make sure he's out of pain as soon as possible.....

Go to your pet store and buy treatment. It is most likley dropsy and there are many medications to chose from. Separate your betta from other fish in a cycled hospital tank. Depending on how big the hospital tank is if you use a fiter take out the carbon so the medication doesn't get filtered out. Follow instructions on medication.

Actually he died 2 days after this post..he's in the obituary section now, I did try treating him but it was too late...Thank for trying though.
