Help my catfish!!!

hey guys,

just wondering if anyone is able to help me. just recently something is growing on both side of my catfish's finn (as shown in picture). is it possible some kind of diease or sickness? it wasn't attacked by his tankmates or anything which are 2 oscar and a jaguar cichlid.

just wondering if anyone have the same problem or similar. and if there's any way i can do to heal that poor guy. please help!! i love my fishes!

I can't say for sure what that is - but I would suggest it's a parasite

It does look pretty advanced, and I wouldn't hold out much hope (sorry)

There are treatments available, but you have to be careful with this stuff - it gets complicated

Aquarium Medications and treatments; Parasite & Chemical Treatments

If you have a quarantine tank i'd get him in there asap
