HELP MY ELEPHANT LONGNOSE HAS A HOLE!!

I looked at my longnose last night and it seems that he has a small hole that looks like it is going right through him .
Any ideas as to what this could be?? He is not really moving around as much as what he normally is either.

Do you have a picture that we can see? Also, have you removed the other fish from the tank? Also, what are the paramaters of the tank (your water readings)

Edit - If you can, remove him from the tank into a hospital or quarantein tank so you can (if you have to) properly medicate him.

I think he has fin rot. How can i treat it?

I have no quarentine tank and my water readings are fine. I have removed 4 angels and 2 gouramis

It seems that my longnose!! Has made a marculous (sorry about the spelling) recovery!!! *BOUNCINGS
