Help! Newbie with no instruction manual for filter...

I just bought a used 55gallon with filter, heater and a bunch of accessories. The filter however didnt come with an instruction manual. I haven't had an aquarium in over 5 years and have no idea how to set up the filter. Its an emperor filter with bio wheel and filter cartridges....
