Dude, calm down. Yelling won't help anything. Someone isn't around 24/7 to answer questions.

Best thing I can tell you is to search online photo's of fish diseases to see what matches up with your fish and then ask from there. Also proper readings of water would be helpful. If it's fuzzy, then it might be a fungal infection. If not, then it might be bacterial. How does the fish act, how does it eat?

Also when fish are sick, it's generally not a good idea to move them from tank to tank, as you run the risk of infecting more fish if the disease can spread. It's a little late now as you've already move it, but good to keep in mind in the future.

Can you get pics? Look very closely at the spot and see if there is any distinct characteristics about it. Like Orion said it could be fungal or bacterial. The scales being puffy might also be significant. Try these websites:

Fish Disease, Diseases of Fish, Medications & Fish Health Treatments

Fish Disease and Treatment

Good luck!
he has lost some scales, let me get some pics. i feed them and ony 2 of the 3 are eating. the sunset platy is not eating, he is sitting at the top doing nothing. there's the best pics i could get. i taped on the tank hard to get him to move. it realy is bad. HELP

Okay, well, let's start with the basics:
What are your water parameters? We need to know actual figures, not just "good."
Particularly, what are your
1) ammonia levels
2) nitrite (NO2)
3) nitrate (NO3)
4) pH
5) temp

Also, how often are you doing water changes and how much water are you replacing? If we have a good understanding of your habits we may be able to identify a possible cause better.
If you don't have a regular water change pattern, I suggest you start one. I use a small spiral notebook to keep track of things. Every time I check my parameters I write it down in my sprial along with the date. Any time I need to make corrective action, I make note of what was done. Also write down when you do a water change and how much water you replace. Basically keep a fish diary! Then you can go back and review your notes and notice patterns and make conclusions about your observations. This will also help you set a regular maintenance pattern and make sure you don't overlook anything.

I really can't tell what the spot looks like in the pics. Did you look at the websites I suggested? Compare the descriptions of the diseases to what you notice about your fish. Then maybe you can search for images of the diseases that sound similar to what your fish has. Search for "sunset platy with (insert name of disease)" and see if that turns anything up.

1) ammonia levels 0
2) nitrite (NO2) 0
3) nitrate (NO3) 5
4) pH 7.0
5) temp 78-80. let me look at the web sites.

he has Columnaris, a high price chemical will cure it, but im not rich, im just turing 12 on monday, so im going to let it run and see what happens. i do have a prego platy that should have fry with in 2 weeks. i do water changes every week, 20% of the water.

Sounds like ich to me, unless the patch is really fuzzy, then it might be fungal. I suggest heating the water up to 82 slowly and adding melafix.
Missfishy to the rescue! that sounds like a cheaper cure! just one thing, will melFIX kill other fish? and will it work in a 5G? and what melafix, theres a lot of them that treat diffront stuff.

First as others said I would search the internet to find out what it is for sure.Ich usually looks like grains of salt over the body. I personally would make sure you have some idea of what your treating and treat it with the medication recommended.

Now I have to let the parent in me come out, this is a public forum so anyone can see what you post so I would be leary/ cautious about posting your email in the future.

Scott. Ur problem is that neither of your tanks are properly cycled. The 5 gallon u JUST STARTED to breed fish it defintly has not cycled. And ur tank Is overstocked. So b4 u waste more time learn wat to do with ur tanks ur fish are going to continue to get sick and die. I think this is the 100 time I've told u this

You really need to look at cycling the 5 gallon completely. I suggest googling "fish sores" and looking at pictures until you find one that looks like what your fish has. Either way, raising the temp in the tank won't hurt anything in the meantime.

And Melafix is a specific product, so you don't need to know what kind it is, that's the name of it. No, it won't kill your other fish. Your pictures don't really show anything. I would take MissFishy's advice, do some research on your own, bump up the temp and figure out what it is. Go from there.
