Hi, I have some peach oscars and every now and then, bout everyday now they just go down to the bottom of my tank and lie there, sometimes they lean to one side.
Sometimes it's only for a short while, other times it lasts the whole day, except feeding times.

I feed them mainly pellets, they get bloodworms and ox heart for treats and once in a while brine shrimp.

Does anyone have an idea of what the problem can be, they don't have an apetite problem, each feeding time they are the first in the row to get their fair share. Am I maybe overfeeding them that they get some sort of stomache pains??

Thanx

If it is some kind of sickness then my oscar has been infected for well over a year. Mine will sit on the bottom either leaned up on the glass or up aginst a rock and sit there watching us for quite a while. I dont think it is anything to really worry about, I think it is mainly somthing they do when they get bored. Try putting a pingpong ball in with your oscar, mine loves to play with them. But be warrned, make sure that the top on your tank is heavy enough that the oscar can not jump out, as I have heard of this happening to many people.
