help sick fish

Im new to all this so bare with me. I have a fish with a hole in its head and it seems to be getting worse. I dont know if its another fish attacking it or a disease. Does anyone know of a fish disease that involves holes in the head. I have a 55 gal freshwater. this is the first problem I have encountered since starting the tank 18 months ago.*SICK*

Your fish probably has hole-in-the-head disease.
