Help w/new tank

I just bought a used 75 gal tank. I brought about 75% of the water with me thats the water we used in the tank we made the rest of the water. The tank has 2 clown fish that right now seam to be hiding out behind the live rock. I have tested the water all test come back good execept the nitrate test this one is really high. The tank has been only running 2 days so my question is should I just give it some time or do I need to do something to bring the nitrate level down. Any help would be much appriciated.

Water change would be the best thing you can do to lower the nitrate. Moving the tank stirs up the substrate and disturbs everything that's why your nitrates are high.
