Help, What do i do?

Help

I have a Betta and he has a huge circle behind his gills but not on his gills. He acts normal but I can tell it bothers him. The bump has streched the scales, but the do not appear to have the "Pinecone Effect" that I had read somewhere that had that on the fish only the picture's were father back on the fishes body.

I recommend taking him to a good aquarium store, see if they know what's going on and how to help him.

Also if you have a camera see about a taking a picture of him and post it here. Maybe we can see what's wrong and give some advice.
