Hi everyone, I have a white rubber plant in my tank and it has become stained with a horrible orangey tint, I have tried scrubbing it in hot water and boiled it in a pan with a drop of washing up liquid but no joy, Does anyone have any help or advice for me? Thank you in advance

Have you tried a bit of bleach water? Then I'd rinse the plant really well with regular water a few times to get the bleach solution off the surface of the plant before you put it back in the tank. Unless....do you have driftwood in your tank? Could be the tannins tinting your water and the plant??

My partner suggested bleach also, Would it have to be neat or mixed in in parts with cold/warm water? The stains comes from the fish food we were feeding them which we have now changed, Thank you :)
