Hey everyone I'm sad :( to say my 12g JBJ is all dead. Went out to watch the game with my buddys, and when I came home saw my tank's livestock dead. The story behind it was one of the kids tip it over while watching the clowns swim. Tried to fix it by putting everything back in, and adding tap water. Nothing survived. The corals dont look too good. They look brown and dried. Threw away everything exept the tank and heater.

Should I just call it quits with the nanos? Should I start over again? What should I keep this time?

Well...look on the bright side: You know you can successfully keep a sw nano. The losses had nothing to do with your husbandry. I say, if you liked having the tank don't quit. Start over...make it better than before.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I'll give it a shoot once more. I guess I failed in the parenting part too huh? I'll start by teaching the kids tap water does not go in saltwater tanks:D I never really started my nano from the start. What I did was took sand and live rock from my other saltwater tank. It cycled super fast because of this. What I want to do this time is start it from scratch. I never have started a saltwater from scratch. My first saltwater tank was set-up when I purchased it. The owner helped me bring it home and everything too. Back then it was a 55g? I forgot all I remember is that I sold it on Ebay. Well now it's 150g that sits in the living room.
