Just found the thread you were talking about, and I see what you mean. Certainly begs the question Fishman? What happened to the 35 gallon?

You were posting a thread just a few days ago asking for advice on a sorority.. Surely someone who kept one successfully for 5 years (btw, bettas don't tend to live that long. They're fairly short lived) wouldn't need to ask?

I don't want to speculate or argue especially since it was a month ago but still..

That's very much the same for me, as soon as I finish my degree and I'm living in one place for more than a few months I'll be getting straight back into fishkeeping, no question about it! The "break" that I planned on having for a few months has lasted years now and I'm actually selling off a few of my tanks. Does mean I'll be able to get exactly what I want after uni though :)

Out of interest, how old are you? I'm guessing 14/15 from the 1995 in your name? Forgive me if I'm wrong!

1000 gallons?! I mean I've got big dreams but wow!

That's 10 100 gallon tanks put together! Almost impossible for the average home aquarium. The weight of water alone would be immense, not to mention the huge costs running efficient filtration, heating and lighting systems would cause. You'd have to be saving for decades to afford that..

Okay - one thing I have learned - you have to live in the NOW, because you never know what is around the corner. If what you have is the 10 gallon tank, make the most of it because none of us know what we will have in the future.
