help with my gourami

Can i put angel fish and gourami's in the same tank, if yes how many of each, or how many of each sex, in a 55gal tank, can also put my black knife fish in the same tank?

i can use as much help as possible

No, it's not a good idea to mix angels and gouramis at all.

I've successfully kept angels and gouramis together. I don't know why you couldn't do it... I think that gouramis and angels are pretty equally nippy.

You would only want 1 gourami per tank, unless you could definately get girls. Not sure how many angels in a 55, but I think it is something like 10 gallons per angel, so that would make 5. I think that you get problems if some breed, but I don't really know.

5 angels if it was only angels, but i guess you want some other fish to right?

Angels and gouramis dont usually mix well but i do know a few members on here who have done it. You could try it, i would recommend getting the blue gourami or one of its morphs, as it is about the same size as the angels. Maybe you could try 2 FEMALE gouramis and then 1 angel. You could add corys and some larger tetra or danio if you wanted

I have a 65 gallon tank. there are 3 Blue gouramis 3 Gold gouramis 3 angelfish 6 clown loatches and 6 cory catfish. the gouramis and angels have been together for over a year now.and get along great.
