Help with rinsing sand!!!

Hey, yesturday i put sand in a tank, but didn't really rinse it, and it is cloudy beyond belief, is this because i didn't really rinse the sand?

If so, could you please please explain how to do this, i have 9 fish in a 4 gal. bucket and they have been there since this time yesturday!

Place the sand in a buket and let the water run for about ten minutes. The sand will stay at the bottom while the debris will overflow over the bucket.

yeah... youll need to take water ut angain and start over again!

Just do some major water changes.. No need to take it all out of the tank. I'd take out all the water. Fill up about 4 inches of water and mix the sand around, wait a minute and then take out all of that water and do it again until all of the sand settles out of the water after a minute or less. You should be able to pick up a handful of sand and drop it without it clouding the water.
