My tank has ich. I've turned up the water to 82 and have added 3 tablespoons of aquarium salt. (15 gallon tank) I can't get any warmer, but I'm asking for clarification/reassurance about salt treatment, since I've read so much all I've done is confuse myself.

Do I add more salt tomorrow and go to 2 tablespoons per 5 gallons of water?

I'm not sure how frogs factor into this, but here's what I read about when I was going through ich a few weeks ago.

You can go as far as 1 tbsp per gallon if you have scale fish, but only 1 tsp per gallon if you have non-scale fish like catfish. I have a pleco and cories so I did the 1 tsp and also couldn't get my tank any hotter than your did and with daily water changes for a week it was enough to get rid of the ich.
