Help with sick queen angel

I'm trying to help a friend figure out what his queen angle has growing on it. The fish has what looks like white cotton growing on it's fins well that's where it started now it's spreading onto it's mouth as well as it's belly. The LFS gave him some medication and it's not improving at all. Told him that I would post here since everyone's been very helpfull any time i've had a problem, that I couldn't figure out. Wayne the 2nd picture down can't tell if that is actually a white growth on the yellow fish or not but if it is that's what it looks like. Looks like he rubbed a cotton ball on the fish and small clumps stuck to it. Started on the fins and is now on it's mouth and Dorsal and pectoral fins. I'm just starting a salt water tank so I haven't seen any kind of disease before in a marine tank..I'll try and get a picture.
