someone please answer these questions..........
here is what i have..........
*55 gallon(im going to do a fish only tank, with some dead/live rock mixed)
*2 whisper 60 triad power filters(should i get a wet/dry, or another type of filter?)
*40 watt aqua glow(do i need something better?)
*200 watt heater
*regent powerhead(do i need another if i put in live rock
i set up my tank, on sunday night, i put dead coral on the bottom and added 20 lbs dead rock, when can i buy some live rock and put it in? also i used tap water to fill the tank, thats what my LFS told me to do, will this affect the live rock?
how much dead/live rock should i put in a 55 gallon?
what kind of things grow on live rock? will the dead rock i put in turn to live rock?
what kind of plants need very little lighting?
do i need a protein skimmer right away?(how long can i wait, before i need to get one?)
should i get a wet/dry sump, with the bio-balls?
how do i change my filters, and still keep the bacteria on them?
