Here we go again

My Betta keeps filling up with air. He is like a balloon what is wrong with him? I can see right through him.
I have him in a two gallon octagon gravel filtered tank!
He was full of air I gave him anitbiotics and beta fix. For about a month one day he was skinny again. I was relieved then after a week he ballooned up again. Now he won't eat and stays at the bottom. What could be wrong with him? Please reply I am worried.

It sounds like he could either have dropsy, or a swim bladder problem. What are your water conditions like? do you do regular changes?

Sound like Dropsy.. the symptoms may have subsided, however dropsy is very, very terminal. From what I understand, Dropsy is a symptom of some sort of internal organ failure(s) like the kidney, which causes their bodies to absorb water and swell-up.

Anti-biotics usually cannot repair the damaged organs. If it gets worse, I suggest putting him/her down by freezing.
