Medications sometimes reduce the oxygen available. You can either add a bubble stone, or reduce the level of the water in the tank a little so it splashes in more. That may make him feel better. Is it possible another fish in the tank is attacking him?

oh my goodness i was so suprised thismorning when i looked into the tank and the litle fighter was still alive. he has absoloutely no tail left but he seems to be better than yesterday. He comes out every now and again for something to eat.

I've got loads of bubbles going into the tank so i dont think that oxygen is going to be a problem.

one thing though, i have white fur growing on everything and the tank went really cloudy yesterday is this from the medicine i put in or is it something else?

It likely means that the medication killed your filter bacteria and now everything is covered in less desirable bacteria. Water changes at the ready!
Cories are not normally good with medications - I've heard people only applying half doses to them. True for other cats too.
