I can't decide if that's a nice fish or not. I wouldn't say no though. I must say I quite like goldies.
Do you ever actually buy these big plecs - I prefer(red) to get mine small and grow them out.

No I don't. I have my monster The rowdy royal. He is more than enough. And after the peppermint I got last night I prob won't get any more that get over 4-5 inches. They just take up too much tank space and need way too much filtration. But yeah I did get him at 9 inches from the get go.
