Been a while!! Lots has happened in the last few months!! Fish tank has done really well, except the black hair algae that I continuously battle. We had a winter storm come through this week and knock out power. Power came back on, heater for aquarium doesn't work! Had to go get a new one, but still loosing fish! I did a 75% water change the day we got power back, had lost two fish in the mean time. That was Thursday. Lost two more during the night. They seem to have a white fungus growing on them... Sent husband to the store to get more fungus guard since I am out and didn't know it! Wonder how many more I will loose or if I can save the tank!! Fingers crossed!

that really sucks. sorry to hear that. I know when I lived up north I lost a lot of fish to our power outages from the storms. I hope the remaining guys can be saved. Keep us updated.

what are your water parameters? ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate need to be monitored, let us know what the readings are to make sure your tank is properly cycled.
