Started to read some of the threads yesterday and now I am completley hooked on this site.

I am trying to gain as much info as possible into starting a nano tank:

suitabse tank size?
Filtration?
Heating
Etc.

Can anyone point me in the write direction or reccomend a starting point

I want to house a 4-5 fish with some LR but really not very experienced in marine fish keeping.
Just hoping for some suggestions.

Just purchased Mike Pallettas "new marine aquarium" book, but wiating for it to arrive.

I suggest you make a post in the nano tank saltwater section. There are also a lot of previous posts on nano tanks you can read through.
