Hi, thought I would introduce myself. I used to post on these boards about 3 years ago, but since then I had to take down all my tanks to move up to the University that I attend. But I recently moved into an apartment so I can have fish again.
I've been keeping fish since I was 9, so I kind of feel like I know what I'm doing; but certainly I am always learning!
I just set up my 20L. It's got flourite, 50W compact flourescent lighting and a good old Aquaclear for a filter.
These are some pictures of my tank (about 3 days after set up). The cloudiness finally cleared and you can see my lonely 3-year-old betta swimming around. I am not sure what kind of plants are in it - the good LFS out here disappeared over the summer while I was gone on study abroad and all I'm left with are the two major chain stores.
anyway, here are the pictures!
As soon as I can get my hands on some Valisneria... I will be a happy person!
