1. Should i change the filter sleeve right after the cycle is complete? will that take away all the good bacteria? because according to the filter's instruction i should change it every month.

2. My new tank is now entering it's 3rd week and the water is no longer cloudy as it was when i first put the fish and the new filter in it but the ammonia level is still very high, at level 8. How much longer will I have to wait? Is it a good idea for me to get stress-zyme to speed up the process?

1. You really dont have to change the filter that often. When you do a water change clean it in the Old tank water. You will get the junk off of it and still kepp the Bacteria alive.

2. I would use the Stress Zyme. Do you have fish in the tank now? If so 8 PPM of ammoina is way to high for them. You need to do a water change.
