Hello everyone, my name is John. I've been keeping fish for about 14 years. I've had freshwater fish for 8 years, and I've had saltwater fish and corals for 6. Recently we've put in hardwood floor in our living room, so we weren't going to risk a leak destroying $3500 of flooring. I gave my reef and all my aquarium supplies to a friend. About a week ago I realized how much I miss my tank and bought a 46g. I was looking around for info on fish, and found this forum.

Welcome John! I feel your pain with the wood floors...I just moved into a new house where the main floor and upstairs have wood floors so I have told myself that I can't have any tanks on them...at least no big ones haha I have a couple little ones that I think are going to have to go upstairs because I dont have room for them in the basement. Is your 46 a bowfront? My 46bf is probably my favorite tank
