Okay. I want to get shrimp for my ten gal. Would my gouramis eat them? Would the plec? What else would you suggest? It's just my two blues and the plec right now... and a neon cave and lots of *fake* plants.
I had a ghost shrimp in my 25g with 2 Blue Gourami and a common plec. without them ever tying to eat the shrimp. I'm pretty-sure the shrimp is dead now, it's been a few months since I've seen it, but he lived in there for about a year and a half.
It seems to me that the shrimp are fine as long as they are alive, but once they die, the fish consider them shrimp cocktail and their bodies are gone within an hour...I think that's how my ghost shrimp just magically "disappear."
