I'm happy to say that my oscar has overvome this awhul disease. I treated him and over night it seemed he was better. But the spores are still there. I know they will probably nevr go away but will they heel at all? And i've heard that once the fish has this disease it will never be able to live a full life. IS this true?

Congrats on curing it - it can be tricky sometimes. Typical causes are listed as high Nitrates, stress, carbon, vitamin deficiency, and of course, the heximita parasite. Continue to watch for all of these to avoid it coming back.
The scars should heal eventually, but there may always be some marking, depends on severity. A mild tonic such as melafix may help, as will vitamins - watch for secondary fungal infection while the wound is still fresh.
Long term effects kinda differ from case to case - to many variables including future conditions - (fingers crossed tho)
