I think one of my oscars has hole in the head.... what can I do to help him out? I know that the tank I have is tooooo small... Hoping to get one soon... Trying to scrape up the cash... what if I add another filter...? Could this help with keeping amonia and nitrates down?

i feed them pellets from the lps... its 3 different kinds of stuff so they get all their vitamins and minerals.. I quit feeding them live food because I had been told that they can get a vitamin c deficiency...

i have been doing more water changes....

Water quality, stress (overcrowding a big factor) and feeding mostly 'feeder fish' are all factors in the disease. There is not clear-cut culprit, but those who keep up on water quality, reduce stress and feed quality foods (as you do now), seldom see the disease.

I fear that it is mostly because of the size of the tank... there is too much fish for the tank.. been doing prequent water changes... in hopes to rectify the problem....
