Anyone ever kept these little cuties?

I picked up 4 of them...eventully going to go in my 30 gallon fully planted, along with my 8 cherry barbs.

They only get a few inches, one reason I got them, plus they are pretty cool in the pics I saw. They are all gold /orange right now, but I guess this will change when they get happy.

Time to put them in the q-tank.....

I also would like get some honey gouramis and maybe some dwarfs. I would like to put them with my Discus in my 90G. However, Im not going to for awhile until I get good at caring for the Discus plus quart. them for 3 months.

You know they are not big when the new cherry barbs push the little honeys around during feeding time.

I would probebly bite a them too if they put their feelers on me all the time like they do.

I think I see a dot....but not sure.....hope it isn't ick..and just a mark :-/

I followed cillina's link, and someone on a board wrote they ate their plants. I was like uh oh!

But I have live plants in there, they peck at algae, not the leaves.

Want to see a fish peck at a plant..take my rosy barbs for a couple days!!
