After taking awhile away from here and joining another forum for awhile, i have decided to attempt a return here. Let me begin by saying that i still don't have my API Liquid test kit however i am getting one in a few weeks. I dont expect you guys to think ive changed until i upload the picture of the testkit. I still have my 5.5 gallon tank running with my Male Betta in it Ferdinan. I also since leaving the forum, have setup a 10 gallon tank which has in it 3 Platys ( 1 male 2 female), 3 male Spiketail paradise fish and 1 golden apple snail. Both tanks are planted and are doing well. After i get my testkit i will post my question/ issue i have as i cannot rule out my water isnt causing it. Please make me feel welcome guys :)

Well the API test kit is not going to change you. You have to change yourself. Its the the matter of not having the kit, its the different stories and versions of said stories that make the case. Keep doing 10-20% water changes each week, for a few weeks and then see what happens then and see what the tests say.

I know. I have changed. I do my weekly water changes. The issue is only with one fish. If it isnt better in 2 weeks when i get my test kit i will ask the forum its advice. For future reference so the forum knows, my species of Paadise fish is this one : Pseudosphromenus dayi . I read up on them alot before getting them. What i read wasnt as accurate as i had hoped. Well thanks for the welcome back :)

I was just thinking it was about time you showed up again. We will all be hoping for the best and I am glad your fish are doing well. Do you have a summer job this time?
