hey guys howzit?
Anyway i have a regular metal hose clamp (the kind you tighten with a screwdriver) and it is underwater connecting my return line to my sump pmp.
Do i need to worry about this little piece of metal in my system...i believe its stainless steel?
well here is the deal, it will rust and you will not be able to remove it, take it out and replace it with a plastic hoseclamp, they should sell them at the local hardware store
May contain alloys that aren't safe like chromium..and it certainly contains copper if it's stainless steel. Now i don't know if salt can degrade stainless quickly. Wanted to use a regular garden hose that wasn't stainless..changed my mind. Salt encourage rust
