It's been 10 days since I started my fishless cycle, and 3 days since I added ammonia. Today my readings are .....ammonia 5ppm, nitrites 0.50/1.0ppm, nitrate 5.0. I guess I just want you knowledgeable fish keepers out there to confirm that I'm doing it correctly and that everything is running on schedule :p . Any comments would be appreciated *SUNSMILE*

Sounds good! I would discontinue the ammonia use and let the ammonia & nitrites settle to zero. Do a 50% or so water change after this happens to reduce the nitrates and remove undetectable amounts of ammonia & nitrites. Then add fish slowly, always allowing a minimum of 2 weeks in between each small addition.

Good luck!
